What is the Purpose of the Lawn Mower Lift?
Think of the Pro-LifT T-5335A Lawn Mower Lift as a car jack, except this works with riding mowers. The Pro-Lift is so popular because it will allow you to lift your zero-turn mower effortlessly. Not only will this help you lift the riding mower safely, but it also prevents damage to the mower itself.
In order to keep your lawn looking its best, the mower blades regularly must be removed for sharpening or replacement. The Pro-Lift allows you to do so safely, quickly, and efficiently. With the mower lifted off the ground, it is much easier to inspect underneath to see if any other repair work is needed. Cleaning the underside of the mower deck is much easier as well.
Consider the Pro-LifT T-5335A Lawn Mower Lift
Everyone that has a zero-turn mower should consider one of these tools. The T-5335A has a lift capacity of 350 pounds and weighs 55 pounds. The Pro-Lift is compatible with most zero-turn and riding mowers. A 300-pound lift capacity model is also available (but currently over $100 more on Amazon).
Although you can find ways around being able to lift your zero-turn mower, this lift makes the underside of the mower much more accessible. The lift also prevents possible damage to your zero-turn mower by holding it securely off the ground. Not to mention, the huge increased safety factor.
Pro-LifT T-5335A Lawn Mower Lift Features
Safety lock for safely supporting the load
Rubber padded platform to prevent scratching and to protect your machine
The non-slip foot pedal allows effortless lifting of the load
Easily maneuverable and adjustable for a wide variety of machine
The Pro-Lift Couldn’t be Easier To Use
Drive the front wheels of the mower onto the wheel baskets. Using the jack handle, turn the release valve clockwise until firm resistance is felt. Then raise the lift by carefully pumping the foot pedal to raise the mower up to the desired height. Make sure to confirm the final height corresponds with the locking teeth on the Height Locking levers.
To secure the mower, carefully turn the release valve counter-clockwise, slowly, until the lift platform locking levers engage the height locking levers. Finally, close the release valve by turning it clockwise until firm resistance is felt. This last step places the weight of the mower on the lift platform and not on the jack.
Once maintenance is complete, it’s time to lower the lift. First, pump the pedal several times to raise the lift just enough to disengage the height locking levers. Carefully turn the release valve counterclockwise slightly to allow the lift to lower the load slowly and safely.
